Chan Wei Tuck has performed and collaborated with pianist Lucas Wong, flutist Roberto Álvarez and Zephyr Flute Ensemble, and violinist Goh Chia-Chien and Tomislav Dimov. Other solo and ensemble performances were at Ehrbar Hall, Bösendorfer Hall at Mozarthaus Vienna, the College of Creative Arts at West Virginia University, Frank Arts Center at Shepherd University, and Le Quadri Ballroom at UCSI University.
Wei Tuck also composes music during his free time. In 2019, Intrigue for piano was awarded Third Degree Diploma in the Golden Key Piano Composition Competition 2019 - International Professional category and was premiered at Ehrbar Hall, Vienna, Austria. Also in the same year, Raindrop for piano was premiered in the Pensacola ComposerFest XV at Ashmore Fine Arts Auditorium, Pensacola State College. In 2018, three pieces for violin and piano, Reunion, Reflection, and Romance, rearranged for flute and piano, was premiered at Dewan Filharmonik Petronas.
Wei Tuck earned his Bachelors, Masters, and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees in piano performance from West Virginia University. He was awarded the Fine Arts Scholarship for his undergraduate studies and a graduate assistantship in piano technology for his doctoral studies. His principal piano teachers were James Miltenberger, Christine Kefferstan, and Lee Yin Hwa. His musical formation was further enhanced in masterclasses by Tan Siok Lian, Ng Chong Lim, Scott Beard, Lisa Emenheiser, Julie Bees, and Stephan Möller. He studied electroacoustic composition with David Taddie.
